Oil heating – Switch to LPG

A greener way to fuel your off-grid needs.

Oil vs LPG

If you’re looking to replace the oil heating that powers your home or business, and want to lower your carbon footprint, then you should switch to LPG.

With the lowest CO2 emissions of any off-grid fossil fuel (LPG can reduce carbon by around 20% when compared to oil and around 30-40% from coal), LPG will play a major role in this transition towards a cleaner energy mix in the UK.1

As well as having a lower carbon footprint, LPG offers a major reduction in NOx and SO2 emissions compared to oil and emits almost zero particulate matter — a major contributor to air pollution.2 This means a switch from oil to gas will provide much cleaner air.

As well as being cleaner, LPG is also highly efficient, versatile, reliable, and widely-available.

Oil heating – why switch to gas?

If the government is to reach its ambitious net zero targets by 2050, it needs to start reducing carbon emissions today. For off-grid homes and businesses, switching from oil to LPG or LNG can provide immediate carbon savings while providing the high-grade fuel needed to heat off-grid homes and power off-grid businesses.

Carbon offsetting

We also offer carbon offsetting which provides an answer to reducing the day-to-day emissions we create that can’t be prevented. It’s a process where you can compensate your emissions by funding projects that provide sustainable development in communities around the world.
